Kireää pakkasta - Freezing cold

Ennen lumen tuloa ehdimme kuvata pojan kanssa nämä helpot lapaset. Lapaset on tehty tasoneuleena, joten kavennukset ja peukalot ovat todella helppoja tehdä. Sivussa kulkee sauma. Lanka näissä on harmaa tweed värjätty, ilmettä syntyy pelkästään sen avulla.

Ja nyt kun pakkanen tammikuussa todella iski, näille löytyy käyttöä!

We took photos of these easy mittens with my son, before the snow arrived to Finland. They have been knitted flat, so there is a lot less trouble with the decreasing and with the space for thumb etc. With this technique there is a seam on the side. The yarn is grey tweed-dyed, so the image comes from the yarn.

And now that the cold winter has finally arrived, there is plenty of use for these!
