Alseda rahin uusi elämä - The new life of Alseda stool

 

Ikeaa kotona

 

No ei sitä hirveästi ole, mutta tässä yksi vanha Alseda rahi, jolle päätin neuloa päällisen. Netistä löytyy jonkun verran virkkausohjeita, mutta halusin pyörrekuvion, niin päätin kokeilla neulomista. 

Lopputulos on melko verkkomainen. Jos haluat peittävämmän, lisää työhön silmukoita. Tälläisenä päällinen pysyy paikallaan itsestään, peittävämmän voi joutua sitomaan pohjasta.  

Trikoo kude on raidallista, joten pinta on meleerattu, yksivärisestä tulee tietysti tasaisempi. Huom, tässä kuteessa on melko paljon elastaania! Tuon virheen, mikä näkyy kuvassa kavennuksissa, olen poistanut ohjeesta. Pitäisi mennä jaot tasan : )

ALSEDA jakkaran päällinen 

Lanka:  Puuvilla-elastaanikude esim. Hooked zpagetti 90% Co, 10% Ea 

Tiheys: Venytetty 5s= 10 cm, venyttämätön 6s= 10 cm

Lankamenekit: n. 200 m 

Puikot: pyöröpuikot 60 cm ja sukkapuikot nro 10

Mallineuleet: neulo aina oikein

Neulominen:

Luo 46 s pyöröpuikoille. Neulo 2 krs aina oikein. 

Aloita lisäykset: lisää ensimmäisellä kerralla 1 s.  5 silmukan välein.  Pidä silmukan lisäyskohdat aina samoina. Tee vastaavat lisäykset joka 2. krs kunnes työssä on 91 s. Neulo kaikilla silmukoilla kunnes koko työ on 24 cm korkea. 

Aloita sitten kavennukset: kavenna  ensin joka 13 s. ylivetokavennuksella.  Jatka kavennuksia joka 2. krs. Pidä kavennuskohdat samoina, jotta pyörrekuvio pääsee muodostumaan.  Jatka kunnes et pysty enää neulomaan pyöröpuikoilla ja vaihda sukkapuikkoihin. Kavenna, kunnes työssä on jäljellä 8 s. 

Katkaise lanka ja pujota se silmukoiden läpi.Venytä päällinen jakkaran päälle.

Well not much, but here is one old Alseda stool, which I decided to redo. You can easily find similar crocheting instructions in web, but I wanted the circular design to show, so I decided to knit instead. 

The old stool shows through the cover. If you want it to cover more, pls add lps to work. Like this the cover stays put by itself, with more lps you might need to wire it from bottom.

The yarn has stripes so the surface is melange, with solid yarn the result is probably more even. Note that there is quite a lot elastan in the yarn! There is a mistake in dividing the lps, you can see it in the photo. I have corrected this to instructions, so the lps should go even : )

Yarn:  cotton-elastan f.ex Hooked zpagetti 90% Co, 10% Ea, 200 m

Tension: stretched  5 lps= 10 cm, unstetched  6 lps= 10 cm

Needles:  circular (60 cm) and DPN size 10

Swatches: knit plain

Knitting:

Cast on 46 lps with circular needles. Knit 2 rows.  

Start increasing: add  1 lp. after every 5 lp.  Keep the points for increasing always same. Add the same every 2. row, until there is 91 lps.

Knit until work is 24 cm high. Start decreasing: make pass over with every  13 lp. Continue decreasing at same points every 2. row. Knit until you have to change into DPNs. Decrease until there is 8 lps. 

Cut the yarn and string through remaining lps. Stretch over the stool.
