Pipo korvaläpillä - Beanie with earmuffs

Kesän aluksi on hyvä miettiä pipoasioita, eihän sitä tiedä, mitä kesän festareilla joutuu kestämään 😄 Tässä yksi simppeli ohje korvaläppämalliin! Tämän ehtii hyvin neuloa vielä edellisenä iltana ennen lähtöä, jos sääennustukset näyttävät pahalta.
Pipo on melko iso, jos haluat siitä selkeästi pienemmän vähennä silmukoita edessä ja takana, pidä silmukkamäärien suhde kuitenkin samana.

So, here is one simple instruction for the beanie with earmuffs.
This one became quite big, so if you want it smaller, decrease the amount of loops in the back and the front. Keep the relation between the amounts the same so you will not end up having the earflaps towards face.

Lanka: Novita Nordic wool 100% wo, musta 80 g. Valkeat raidat villa-silkki -sekoite jämälanka

 

Tiheys: 10 cm=17 s

Puikot: sukkapuikot ja pyöröpuikot nro 4 

Mallineuleet: sileä neule

Neulominen:

Tee ensin läpät. Luo sukkapuikoille 7 s. Neulo seuraavasti: 1. krs neulo kaikki oikein (oikea puoli), käännä. 2.krs neulo 1 o, tee langankierto (lk), neulo 5 nurin, lk, 1 o, käänny. 3. krs neulo 9 o, käänny. 4.krs toista kuten 2. kerros, mutta keskellä 7 nurin. 5. krs neulo kaikki oikein, käänny. Jatka samoin, kunnes sinulla on 19 s työssä ja olet saanut oikean puolen valmiiksi. Huom! älä sulje langankierroista syntyneitä reikiä, vaan jätä ne avoimeksi lopuksi virkattavaa reunaa varten. Tee vielä nurjalle kierros, jossa 1 o, 17 n, 1 o. Käänny ja luo 16 uutta silmukkaa puikolle (tästä syntyy myssyn takaosa). 

Katkaise lanka ja jätä odottamaan.

Toinen läppä tehdään samoin, mutta neulo se pyöröpuikoilla ja luo lopuksi 36 uutta silmukkaa (tästä syntyy pipon etuosa).

Yhdistä osat. Neulo ensin 36 silmukkaa oikein, korvaläpän silmukat oikein, siirrä sitten 16 silmukkaa sukkapuikolta pyöröpuikolle neulomalla ne oikein ja samoin loput 19 silmukkaa eli toinen läpistä. 

Työssä on nyt 90 s pyöröpuikoilla. 

Jatka neulomista suljettuna sileänä neuleena (kaikki oikein) 9 krs. Tee 1. valkoinen raita 2 krs. Palaa mustaan ja neulo 3 krs. Toista kunnes työssä on 4 raitaa. Jatka sitten mustalla, kunnes työn korkeus etureunasta on 14 cm. 

Aloita kärkikavennukset.

1. krs *neulo 13 s ja neulo 2 s oikein yhteen* toista 6 krt.   

2. krs Neulo kaikki oikein.

Jatka kavennuksia neulomalla 2 s yhteen samoissa 6 kohdassa joka toisella kerroksella kuin 1. kerroksella. Vaihda sukkapuikkoihin sitten, kun pyöröpuikoilla neulominen ei enää onnistu. Jatka kunnes työssä 12 s. Katkaise lanka ja pujota pää silmäneulalla loppujen silmukoiden läpi. Kiristä kevyesti aukko kiinni. Pujota loppulanka pipon sisälle ja päättele hyvin. 

Viimeistely:

Virkkaa pipon reunaan 1 krs kiinteitä silmukoita. 

Tee sitten palmikot. Mittaa 15 kpl 60 cm pitkiä pätkiä langasta. Pujota läpän alareunan kolmeen keskimmäiseen silmukkaan kuhunkin 5 lankaa. Tasaa päät yhtä pitkiksi ja palmikoi löyhästi n. 15 cm pitkä palmikko. Kieputa lankaa pään ympäri tiukasti ja päättele sitomalla kieputuksen sisään. Tasaa saksilla lankojen päät yhtä pitkiksi. Tee toinen palmikko samoin. 

Tee vielä tupsu päähän.

Yarn: Novita Nordic wool 100% wo, black 80 g. White stripes miscellaneous.

Tension: 10 cm= 17 lps 

Needles: DPNs and circulas size 4

Swatches: plain knitting

Knitting:

First make the flap parts. Cast on 7 lps to DPN. Then knit 1. row (this will become right side), turn. 2. row knit 1 lp, increase 1 lp, purl 5 lps, increase 1 lp, knit 1, turn. 3. row knit 9 lps, turn. 4.row make as 2. row, but in the middle 7 lps. Continue until you have 19 lps in the work and you have finished the right side. NOTE! Leave the holes in the edges as they are, don`t close them. You can use them when you do crocheting to the edge. Make one more row at the reverse side: knit 1 lp, purl 17 lps, knit 1 lp. Turn and make 16 new lps to the needle (this will be back side of the hat).  Cut the yarn and leave it be.

Make the other flap the same but use circular needles and cast on 36 new lps to the needle (this will be front side of the hat).

Combine the parts to the circular needle. Knit first 36 lps, then flap 19 lps, then 16 lps from the DPN. As last 19 lps (the second flap) from DPN. 

You now have 90 lps on the circular needle. 

Continue knitting plain as circular knit 9 rows. Then take the stripe yarn and knit 2 rows. Back to black yarn, knit 3 rows. Continue until you have 4 white stripes. Then knit solid black until the work is 14 cm high at the front.

Then start decreasing for the top. 

1. row *knit 13 lps, knit 2 lps together* repeat 6 times. 2. row knit plain. Continue the same, decrease always 2 lps at the same 6 points. Remember to make the 1 plain row in between. Change into DPNs when it becomes impossible to knit with circular needles. Knit until you have 12 lps in the work. Then cut the yarn and use needle to string the yarn thru the lps. Close the hole and tighten well. 

Finishing:

Crochet 1 row of single crochets to the edge.

Then make the plaits. Measure 15 pcs 60 cm long cuts from the yarn. String 5 cuts to the three center lps at the end of tha flap. Even the lengths and plait loosely. Bind the end with a new cut from the yarn. Cut the ends even. Make the other one the same. 

Add a bobble to the top.
