Kori jämälangoista - Basket made of miscellaneous yarns

[FIN] Jokaiselle neulojalle jää paljon jämälankoja. Joskus niiden määrä stressaa -mitä ihmettä noille pitää tehdä? Toisaalta ne ovat myös lähde uusille ideoille ja luovuudelle. 

Ihastuin tähän äidin tekemään koriin, jossa on sekaisin isoäidin puuvillaisia perintölankoja ja uudempia jämiä. Oliko siitä jo puhetta, että isoäitini työskenteli koko työuransa tekstiiliteollisuudessa? Eläkkeelle hän jäi Barkerin tehtaalta Turusta.

Mutta kirjava kori päätyi poikani huoneeseen. Hänelle kertynyttä legomerta on mahdoton hallita, joten joka kori tulee tarpeeseen. Jos ne vielä ovat hauskan näköisiä, niin aina parempi.

 

[ENG] Everyone who knits, have also lots of  left over, miscellaneous yarns. Sometimes you feel panicked -what should I do with them? On the other hand they can also bring new ideas and creativity.

I liked a lot of this basket that my mum had made from her overflowting left overs. Part of them are inherited from my grandmum. Did I write before that she worked her whole life in textileindustry? She retired from factory called Barker in Turku. 

But the multicloured basket has it`s place in my son`s room. The lego mountain he has is impossible to control, so every basket comes in need. If they also look fun, even better.
